Chicken Sausage and Pepperoni Pizza

Monday Night- Jan 7th

Pizza is super easy to make. I like to make my own, especially the sauce. This time I used store bought dough due to time restraints as my last semester of college starts this week! This pizza has few ingredients, yet is really meaty and flavorful. With sauce,  sausage, pepperoni, cheese I spiced it up by making two versions- 1 tomato based and 1 with white sauce.

Tomato Based Pizza Sauce

--------------INGREDIENTS-----------------

1 Can Crushed Tomatoes
1 Can Diced Tomatoes
1 Clove Garlic, Minced
2 Tbsp Chopped Yellow Onion
Salt, Pepper, Oregano, dash of Nutmeg, Basil, and Bay Leaf

---------PREPARATION--------

Heat oil and cook garlic, onion, salt and pepper until onions are translucent.

Pour the tomatoes in the pan and add the rest of your seasoning

Cover and cook 25 minutes. Serve immediately or save for later!

White Pizza Sauce

--------------INGREDIENTS-----------------

2 Tbsp butter
3 Tbsp flour
1 C milk
2 garlic cloves, minced
Salt, pepper, italian seasoning
1/2 C fresh park

---------PREPARATION--------

In saucepan melt butter and garlic. Add flour and mix together.

Slowly stir in milk with whisk until even.

Add seasoning. Serve immediately or refrigerate until you are ready.

--------- pizza PREPARATION--------

Roll out the dough on a floured surface

Mix together parm, mozz, and ricotta cheese. Add as much or as little as you please. We love cheese so I will usually have 2 bags mozz, 1 bag parm, and a small container of ricotta. Season this mixture with parsley, and salt and pepper.

Top dough with pizza sauce

Spread cheese mixture

Add chicken sausage and pepperoni.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until ready.

Serve!
