Monza

This past weekend, we decided to go to our favorite pizza place in Charleston.
The revolutionary group which owns Monza, also has 3 other local businesses. Their idea for these restaurants is to buy and serve everything local, making all their products fresh and ever-changing. The other restaurants under revfoods are; Taco Boy, Poe's Tavern, and Closed For Business.

Here is how Monza describes their pizza:
"Our dough is made using imported San Felice wheat flour, natural Neapolitan yeast, filtered and pH balanced water then kneaded with a mixer imported from Naples. Our pizza is baked in a wood fired oven at 1000 degrees resulting in a thin crispy crust, topped with fiore di latte mozzarella, and fresh local and regional ingredients whenever possible. Rev it up for Monza."

Every night Monza has a soup, salad, lasagna, and pizza special. We always enjoy the soup special to share.

I have had almost every pizza on the menu, and have tried the specials from time to time as well. Recently, we have been making our own pizza's.

House made sausage, extra cheese, and two fried eggs.
House made sausage, pepperoni, two fried eggs.

What an amazing dinner!
If you are a local and want to eat at Poe's, Monza, CFB, or Taco Boy ask about their revolutionary awards program. Every $100 you spend, you get $10 off.

Thanks Monza!
